Rotorua Taupo

Rotorua
In Rotorua Kai,Tash,Dani and I went to a pop up ice skating rink. It was my first time ever even seeing a rink. I was pretty scared but my friends comforted me as they have been to ice skating rinks multiple times before. I started on the support box thing then tried to skate without it and I fell over straight away onto my right knee! I thought the ice would be soft or not as hard for some reason BUT NO IT WAS HARD!!
Taupo

On the way to Taupo we went to this awesome place called  Hoka Falls. When looking at these falls you would feel this level of respect for mother nature and its beauty and destruction. We found these really cool thermal mud pools and spent a bit of time looking at the mud splurting out in 80 - 100  degrees water.

Tongariro Crossing
My Mum and I went for this massive 7 hour walk with some of the gypsy people and it was EXHAUSTING. 20km long 2km in height with great scenery! Mum had a great time taking photos.
My favourite part was when we went down from the very top  of the mountain on all this shingle at one part on the shingle it was only 1 metre WIDE with cliffs on both side of you!! At the end we felt very sore but happy that we accomplished the Tongariro Crossing.

Napier

Napier
In Napier all the gypsy kids were excited for our big Easter hunt that was made by the Gypsy Bunny Yani.  We all split the goods evenly and had a great time. There was this 4 year old kid called Dylan that we met in the week during our stay at the rock beach in Napier. He came from Thailand traveling to New Zealand with his mum. We went to these fountains with him and had a blast getting soaked. Back at the Extravaganza Fair I did my fire test for the devil sticks and passed. It was great fun using them for my first time and a little bit scary. The next day
we went to the movies with all the kids and watched a movie called Peter Rabbit.

Palmerston North

Palmerston North

In Palmy we had a great time going to this weird Museum. It had a bunch of exhibits such as the Lego exhibit, water exhibit and the rugby exhibit (That we did not go to). I think us kids all liked the Lego exhibit the best. There was a bunch of great things inside of there. Like these massive Lego bricks, wall of Lego, tables of Lego, stop motion station. I spent most of my time on one of these tables making like a rainbow platform thing. It felt very satisfying when you brushed your hand across the top of it. When we were done with that we went down to this little water
construction kind of place. It had this really cool kind of crane that you could bring the black bricks up to make this fireplace, in the back of the room there is a secret door to this awesome  playground. After the museum we all went to this art place. We watched this documentary on this persons art. The guy was throwing his art into the water and doing all these unusual little things. The next day we were all excited because our bowling day was held here in Palmy and everyone was keen to get the bowling trophy!
When everyone was in the bowling place there was a massive queue for signing in as there was 30 plus gypsy people in the line. The kids and I were split into two groups  a littler group and a bigger kids group. For the first game I was going quite badly when I was warming up but when I got momentum I was away. I won the first round by 1 point with Jayah just behind! The next round our 7 year old kid called Aidan got his bumpers up and destroyed us all! The first round he had 30 or so points but at the second round he had 103!!!
By the end of the night Dusty was given the trophy for the second time running. For the end of the night we went to The Square as it had a lantern show on. When we all arrived we were drawn to the fire show that was going on. We all spent a while admiring their skills and questioning if we could match them. On the way home we saw these really cool animal lanterns, there were about 6 different animals and my favourite was probably the chicken.

Papamoa, Whakamaru, Mokau, New Plymouth

Papamoa

In Papamoa one of our gypsy kids had his double digit birthday! He had a Wonder Woman film on and some great food. Later on in the night we got to light up a bunch of sparklers so my mother being the photographer she is gets her camera out and takes some very cool photos. When I went to bed that night I saw a peculiar animal, one that I do not see very much back in my home city. It was a Chihuahua! So there is this guy on the fair called Yani. He had to restock his stall so he went up to Bali but left this cute little dog called Luna with us for two weeks.

Whakamaru
On the way to New Plymouth we went to this very scenic place called Whakamaru.
It was very peaceful with its fish filled water and chirping bird sounds coming from the massive treetops.

Mokau

At Mokau we had a blast surfing! On our trip sometimes we do not get to go surfing very much or we do not get very good quality surf. So getting some decent surf was great for me and my dad.

New Plymouth

In New Plymouth we had do give our little package back to its owner. Our family were all a little bit sad but when we were setting up the stalls Luna came running over to us from out of nowhere and gave us all kisses and hugs. For the rest of the day whenever Yani let Luna out she would come visit our bus.

Tauranga

Tauranga
At Tauranga the family and I thought we should definitely go to the mount for a spa and a walk of course. On the way up the mount it was really windy and raining, but it was all worth it when we got to see the view on the top of the Mount. The next day dad really wanted to go for a surf so we went to the mount once again and had a great surf but before I got into the water it I saw this massive crab burrowing into the sand and I was skeptical the whole time I was surfing after that. For the rest of the week I met alot of my friends and had a great time.

My Birthday

 My Birthday

The day before my birthday we stayed at a really nice place near the beach my Mum and Dad were going for a swim while I was looking through the sand dunes and I came across a little Lizard/Gecko I thought it was really interesting so I called mum over shouting as loud as I could and she got alot of awesome photos of it.

The next day was my birthday I was a teen! We drove straight to where our fellow Extravagangsters were to catch up and celebrate. I found my friends snorkeling around the rocks so I walked through knee high water to see them. When they looked my way to see where the shouting was coming from they lended me a snorkel and I had a ball seeing quite decent sized fish there were alot more than I expected. Later on after our refreshing snorkel we walked over to this massive mountain called Mount Manaia it was a 2 hour walk up to the top and back it was great, at the start we had a heap of refreshing rain that turned into great sunshine towards the top. At the top we had a beautiful view of everything! When we got to the bottom I was sweating like a pig it was a really good walk I did it in a hour 30 instead of two hours I was pretty proud to conquer that mountain in the end. Around 7ish Dusty asked if I wanted to go out for a fish with his kids on the kayak so of course I said yes!!!! It was great fun I caught about 9 snapper but only 3 were right sized we lost one decent sized snapper because Dusty was taking this small fish off the hook while the big one was still in his lap because I caught a small snapper basically straight after the big one and what he did was accidentally gave the big snapper to his kid to throw back in the water instead of the little one so we lost a snapper. The next day me and Dylan went looking in this little stream and we came across some really weird fish and crabs we brought them all over to a pond we made and let them go when we finished.  Overall I had a great birthday thanks to my family and friends love you all.

New Plymouth & Mokau

 New Plymouth & Mokau
On setup day in New Plymouth we had a lovely catch up with everyone talking about what happened throughout our week. Going back into my week we drove to my grannies house and she gave me a awesome present Buncho Balloons when I first saw it I thought wow! I'm going to have great fun with the kids using this. Back to setup day I was busy trying to setup a balloon fight I got Aidan right on the back with a balloon plus my mum right on the leg it was really exhilarating and fun!

When we were all set up and it was dark we headed off to the light show. The light show was really packed with people because of the Cat Stevens concert right next to the light show it was also the light show opening. It was still pretty spectacular my favourite  part of the light show was the florescent lights that made any fluoro colours glow I was shining like a star it was pretty cool we had a great time gazing at the lights overall we had an awesome time.

The next day I got lit on fire for my first time! It was really cool the noises when you are spinning sound like a helicopter about to take off! It was pretty scary but it gives you a level of respect for the fire. On the same night we decided to go to the rowboats at the light show we bumped into so many people and banks it was actually starting to get a bit daunting.

On Tuesday we made our way to Mokau. Me and another family from the fair went kayaking over to this cave that was only like 8 meters long. We also kayaked to this pretty cool rock that people use to do bombs off. When we boarded the beach again we were picking up the sand because it looked pretty cool being black and I got a hook into my finger!!! Out of all the bunches of sand I could've picked up I got the one with a hook in it! My finger was aching but it was ok. Later on in the day we went hunting for some goat my dad was lining up to shoot but just before he shot he got to close to the scope and BANG! the gun recoiled into his eye and it was bleeding everywhere giving him a big cut. We did kill the goat though so success. Maybe by the time that you read this I will be eating some goat. Anyway that's most of what I did through the weekend.
